More on the way
Windows apps are in the works. Nothing is announced here before it runs properly.
Why it is free, and what that means
"Free" is used loosely on the internet. Here is exactly what it means on this site.
The full version, not a sample
What you download is everything the app does. No feature is held back behind a licence key, no export is watermarked and nothing expires after thirty days.
Nothing is collected
No analytics SDK, no crash reporter phoning home, no unique identifier, no newsletter sign-up wall. Several of the apps contain no networking code at all.
One clean download
A direct file from our own storage — no download manager, no bundled toolbar, no "offers" step, no mirror that wraps the installer in something else.
Written by one developer
These are not repackaged copies of other people’s software. Every app here is written from scratch, which is also why there are few of them and why each one is small.
A note on the name. "Free full software" is unfortunately also how sites that distribute cracked commercial programs describe themselves. This is not one of those. Everything here is original software written by us and given away deliberately; there is no pirated, patched or re-hosted third-party application on this site, and there never will be.
Questions
Is the software really free?
Yes. Every app here is the complete version at no cost. No trial period, no locked features, no watermark, no subscription, and no account needed to download.
What is the catch?
There is no advertising, no bundled extra software and no data collection. These are small apps written by one developer and released free because they are small enough to give away. Some may gain an optional paid upgrade one day, but whatever is offered as free stays free.
macOS says the app is damaged or from an unidentified developer
macOS shows this for applications distributed outside the App Store. The app is intact — Gatekeeper simply has not been handed a notarisation ticket for it.
- Move the app into your Applications folder.
- Right-click (or Control-click) it and choose Open, then confirm.
- If that is refused, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the blocked app and press Open Anyway.
You only have to do this once per app.
Windows shows a SmartScreen warning
SmartScreen warns about any installer it has not yet seen downloaded many times, regardless of what is inside it. Choose More info, then Run anyway. The warning goes away by itself as a release accumulates downloads.
Do the apps collect any data?
No. No analytics, no telemetry, no account, no unique device id. The apps run fully offline and keep their settings on your own machine. See the privacy page for the details.
Where are the downloads hosted?
On our own storage behind a global CDN, served from
dl.freefullsoft.com.
Every file is uploaded by us. There is no third-party mirror, no download manager and no
wrapper installer anywhere in the chain.
